Hossein Miller is a proud CODA, ASL Interpreter, and co-founder of DC Coda Events, an organization dedicated to empowering the youth through community-oriented events. Born and raised in Washington, DC, Hossein is deeply connected to the culture, diversity, and resilience of the metropolitan area—a foundation that has shaped both his personal values and professional approach. He brings over five years of interpreting experience and is the founder of Hossein’s Hands, an interpreting agency dedicated to delivering high-quality, culturally responsive access across a variety of settings.

Growing up as the child of Deaf parents not only made ASL his first language but also instilled a lifelong commitment to bridging communication gaps and advocating for inclusion. His work spans diverse environments, including Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing communities, where he is recognized for his passion, versatility, and professionalism.

Guided by the mantra “be better than yesterday and inspire others along the way,” Hossein is committed to ongoing skill development and is actively pursuing national interpreter certification. His dedication to community extends beyond the interpreting field, with DC Coda Events serving as a platform to create meaningful spaces, foster mentorship, and encourage identity exploration for the next generation of CODAs and youth in the Deaf community.
