DC CODA Events - The opportunity

Are you a Deaf artist or CODA with a passion for creativity and community? DC CODA Events is looking for inspiring artists to lead hands-on workshops that make art more accessible and inclusive. 

• Design and lead engaging, accessible art workshops for diverse participants
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment that celebrates Deaf culture and identity
• Collaborate with DC CODA Events team to ensure smooth event setup and coordination
• Prepare and organize art materials (materials are provided)
• Represent DC CODA Events with professionalism and cultural sensitivity 

• Must identify as Deaf or a CODA
• Proven experience in visual arts (painting, drawing, etc.)
• Comfortable leading groups and facilitating hands-on workshops
• Strong communication skills (ASL fluency preferred)
• Must be available for pre-event briefing and day of set up
